Slideshow on TV: guest photos live during the evening

Photos guests upload appear on screen within 5 seconds. It is Pixelka’s strongest moment — and you start it from anything with a browser.

Steps

Open gallery admin → Slideshow for screen
Or type the gallery address followed by /slideshow. The page runs full-screen in the browser (F11).
Connect a device to the screen
Most reliable: laptop + HDMI cable. Without a cable: Chromecast (Chrome → Cast → tab), AirPlay from a Mac/iPhone to Apple TV, or the browser directly on Android TV.
Set the interval and music
In gallery settings: 3–30 s per photo (dance floor 5 s, reception 8 s), optional MP3 in the background and a QR code in the corner so guests know where to upload.
Hide what you do not want shown
Turn on approval mode — a photo reaches the screen only after your tap in the admin. The cross in the admin removes it everywhere within a second.
Disable the screen saver
On the laptop set “never sleep” and plug in the charger. The slideshow runs all evening untouched.

With a projector in a bright room increase the interval and use fewer portrait photos — landscape looks better.
You can run /slideshow on a second screen at the bar too — as many as you like.
The slideshow works even if guests have no internet — only the device at the screen needs a connection.

Are videos shown too?

Yes, short videos play muted in a loop; longer ones appear as a preview.

Can I control the order?

The slideshow favours the newest photos and loops the older ones; “Top” photos by likes get priority automatically.
