An invitation via WhatsApp that guests open and answer

A paper invitation costs €2–4 each and never answers back. A digital invitation from Pozýva/Pixelka is free, has RSVP, a map, the schedule and a countdown — and you send it from your phone in minutes.

Steps

  1. Fill in the invitation content

In gallery admin → Event website: venue with map, schedule, dress code, accommodation, your story, gifts. Empty sections stay hidden. Set the cover photo with the star next to a photo.

  2. Add guests

Digital invitation section → Guests: one per line “Name | phone | e-mail” (a name is enough). Each gets a personal link with their name.

  3. Edit the message text

Placeholders {meno} {nazov} {datum} {odkaz}. The default text works; add a personal sentence, it performs better.

  4. Send from your phone

Next to a guest tap WhatsApp (opens their chat if there is a number), Viber, SMS or e-mail — message and link are ready, you just send. Use the group link for group chats.

  5. Track replies and remind

States: not sent → sent → opened → coming/not coming. Use the “No reply” filter a week before the event and send a reminder with the same button. Replies also arrive as push notifications.

Tips from practice

  1. A guest with a personal link sees “Hi Jane” and two buttons Coming / Not coming — they answer in 10 seconds.
  2. The “Add to calendar” button on the invitation reduces the number of people who forget the date.
  3. After the event the same invitation leads to the gallery — guests upload photos without another link.
