Terms of Service
The rules under which VitaCore s. r. o. provides Pixelka (pixelka.sk) and Pozýva (pozyva.sk). Written to be readable — and legally binding all the same. This is a translation; in case of doubt the Slovak version prevails.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover
The service is provided by VitaCore s. r. o., Matúšova 8027/54, Bratislava – mestská časť Staré Mesto, 811 04, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 56 093 667, tax ID (DIČ) 2122201774, Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, Section: Sro, Insert No.: 176563/B (“we” or “the provider”). We are not registered for VAT. Contact: info@eventpixel.eu. Further details are on the Contact page.
These terms govern the relationship between us and you — the person who creates a gallery on pixelka.sk or an invitation on pozyva.sk (“the host” or “you”) — and, to a reasonable extent, the rules for guests who upload photos, confirm attendance or leave messages (“guest”).
The contract is concluded when you submit the form to create a gallery or invitation. You can read the terms before submitting; by submitting you accept them. The contract is concluded in Slovak (with this English translation for convenience); you can save or print these terms.
If you are a consumer (a natural person not using the service in the course of business), Slovak Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection and the provisions marked “for consumers” also apply. If you are a business or legal entity (company, agency, school), the relationship is governed by the Slovak Commercial Code and the processing of guests’ personal data is also covered by the Data Processing Agreement.
2. What the service does
Pixelka is a web service in which the host creates a private photo gallery for an event (wedding, party, corporate event, conference). Guests upload photos, videos and voice messages to it straight from their phones via a link or QR code, without installing an app or signing up. The host manages the gallery through a private manager link: moderation, downloads, display settings, a slideshow for a screen, print templates, guest book, RSVP and other features depending on the plan.
Pozýva is part of the same service: a digital invitation with RSVP, schedule, map, countdown and add-to-calendar, which the host sends to guests via WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger, Telegram, SMS or e-mail. The invitation and RSVP are free; every invitation comes with a gallery on the chosen plan.
We also provide the service as a progressive web app (add to home screen) and as an Android app on Google Play. The app is a wrapper around the same web service; the same terms apply and nothing is purchased through the app — plans are ordered on the website.
We keep developing features. Changes that do not reduce what you paid for may be made without notice; we inform you by e-mail about material changes to a paid plan.
3. Plans, prices and what they include
Prices are listed in euros at pixelka.sk/#cennik and are final (we are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added). A plan is bought once for one gallery; it is not a subscription and nothing renews automatically.
| Free (€0) | up to 100 uploads, 1 GB, uploads for 30 days after the event, full view 14 days, retention 12 months, 1 co-host |
|---|---|
| Small Event (€9) | unlimited photos up to 20 GB, uploads 90 days, full view 12 months, retention 12 months, 2 co-hosts |
| Mid-Sized Event (€18) | up to 50 GB, uploads 180 days, full view 12 months, retention 12 months, 3 co-hosts |
| Large Event (€33) | up to 100 GB, uploads 12 months, full view 24 months, retention 24 months, unlimited co-hosts |
The exact limits, file sizes (photos 20 MB, videos 200 MB) and features of each plan are shown in the price list at the time of ordering; that price list forms part of the contract. If the price list and this table differ, the price list applies.
We may change or restrict the free plan for new galleries at any time; galleries created before the change complete their periods under the original conditions.
Coupons and free plans for clients: a client of the EventPixel event agency (operated by the same company) or a coupon holder may receive a gallery with an extended plan free of charge. A coupon is single-use, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Free plans are not an entitlement and may be ended with 30 days’ notice; galleries already running complete their periods.
Add-on services (for example printed QR cards delivered by post) have the price shown in the order form. They are made to order for your gallery.
4. Ordering, payment and activation
A free gallery is active as soon as you submit the form. We e-mail you the manager link and the guest link; please check your Spam folder too.
You pay for a paid plan by bank transfer using the QR code (Pay by square) or by card via Stripe where offered. For transfers we activate the gallery once the payment reaches our account (SK7411000000002946168241), usually within one business day; until then the gallery works within the free plan so you lose nothing. Card payments activate immediately.
We issue invoices electronically and send them to the host’s e-mail address; you agree to this. If you need an invoice in a company name, enter the billing details in the form or e-mail them to us before paying.
If payment does not arrive within 14 days of the order, we cancel the paid-plan order; the gallery stays on the free plan.
Prices may change; the price at the time of your order applies to you.
5. Withdrawal and refunds (for consumers)
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of concluding it (ordering a paid plan). Just send us an unambiguous statement by e-mail to info@eventpixel.eu — you can use the model form below. The deadline is met if you send the statement on its last day.
We activate the plan immediately after payment, i.e. during the withdrawal period — by placing the order you expressly request this. Provision of the service begins with activation of the plan. You acknowledge that if the service was already being provided during the withdrawal period, we may charge a proportionate part of the price for what was provided; once the service has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal lapses.
To keep it simple: if you withdraw within 14 days and no photo or video has been uploaded to the gallery (you have not started using the service), we refund the full amount. If uploads have already taken place, we refund the price less a proportionate part corresponding to the length of the active plan up to the day of withdrawal, and return the gallery to the free plan.
Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, by the same method you used to pay (to the account the payment came from, or to the card via Stripe), unless we agree otherwise.
Printed cards and signs cannot be returned once production has started — they are goods made to your specification (name, colours, your gallery’s QR code).
For businesses: a purchased plan is non-refundable; you can delete the gallery at any time.
6. Model withdrawal form
Copy into an e-mail and send to info@eventpixel.eu:
To: VitaCore s. r. o., Matúšova 8027/54, Bratislava – mestská časť Staré Mesto, 811 04, info@eventpixel.eu. I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the Pixelka service — plan ……………, gallery (name or address) ……………, ordered on ……………. Name of consumer: ……………. Address: ……………. E-mail used for the order: ……………. Account number for the refund (if different): ……………. Date: ……………. (Signature — only if sent on paper.)
7. Host account and manager link
The host account is tied to the e-mail address entered when creating the gallery. Sign-in is by a link sent to that e-mail or by a password if you set one. The gallery’s manager link is private — whoever has it can manage the gallery. Do not send it to guests; guests get the public link or the QR code.
You are responsible for everything done in the gallery through your manager link or account. If you suspect the link has reached someone unauthorised, you can regenerate it in the settings (the old one stops working) or write to us.
Co-hosts you add have the same rights as you except deleting the gallery and changing the plan.
8. Content, rights and obligations
Photos, videos, voice messages, texts and other content uploaded to a gallery (“content”) remain the property of whoever created them. By uploading you grant us only a free, non-exclusive licence for what is technically necessary to provide the service: storage, thumbnails and resized versions, video transcoding, display in the gallery, slideshow and print templates, backups. We use content for nothing else — we do not sell it, display it outside the gallery or train any models on it.
The host is responsible for having the right to create a gallery for the event and invite guests to upload, and for ensuring that the intended use of the photos (especially at corporate events where photos are reused) complies with the law. The guest is responsible for the content they upload — in particular for not infringing the rights of others (copyright, personality rights, the privacy of people in the photo).
Prohibited content: anything unlawful, depicting sexual abuse, violence intended to harm, hatred against groups of people, infringing third-party rights, or used to spread malware or spam. It is also prohibited to overload the service, circumvent plan limits, download other people’s galleries automatically or attempt unauthorised access.
The host can delete any photo or message at any time and can enable approval mode, in which only approved items reach the wall. A guest can delete their own photo within 24 hours from the same device; later through the host or through us.
Reporting illegal content: if you find content in a gallery that breaks the law or infringes your rights, e-mail info@eventpixel.eu with the gallery address, a description of the content and the reason. We assess reports without undue delay, usually within 2 business days; we disable illegal content and inform you and the host. We are a hosting service provider within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act) and do not actively review content before publication.
If these rules are breached we may remove content, suspend the gallery or terminate the contract with immediate effect. If the breach was caused by the host, no refund is due.
9. Photo retention, periods and deletion
Every gallery has three periods according to its plan, counted from the event date (or from creation if the event is earlier): the upload period (guests can add), the full-view period (the gallery is visible in full quality) and the retention period (after which content is permanently deleted from the server). After full view ends the gallery is “locked”: the host can still download content and extend the periods by buying a plan.
30 and 7 days before retention ends we e-mail the host. After the period expires we delete photos, videos and voice messages from primary storage and from backups (backups are kept 14 days), with no possibility of recovery. The gallery address may remain, but it is empty.
The host can delete the gallery at any time in the settings; content is deleted the same way. Downloading the whole gallery in original quality is available in gallery management throughout the retention period.
We recommend downloading content that matters to you. The service is not an archive or the sole storage for your memories.
10. Availability, maintenance and backups
We provide the service with professional care but without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Short maintenance windows are scheduled outside weekends and evenings when events take place. Content is backed up daily, encrypted, off the main server.
For a paid plan, if an outage caused by us lasts more than 2 hours during your event, we refund the full plan price on request. This is the only compensation for outages agreed by both parties (statutory consumer rights are unaffected).
We are not liable for unavailability caused by your connection, guests’ devices, mobile operators, the venue (weak Wi-Fi at the party) or third-party services (payment gateway, e-mail delivery, WhatsApp or SMS delivery).
11. Liability
We are liable for damage caused by breach of our obligations up to the price you paid for the affected gallery; on the free plan we are liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. This limitation does not apply to personal injury or where the law does not permit limiting liability towards consumers.
We are not liable for content uploaded by guests or for what the host does with it. We are not liable for loss of content you did not download after being notified that retention was ending.
We are not responsible for the correct functioning of third-party features (WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger, Telegram, SMS and e-mail providers, Stripe, calendar apps, browsers); we only prepare the links to those services.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
If the service does not work as it should, e-mail us at info@eventpixel.eu — include the gallery address, what is happening and when. We handle complaints without undue delay and within 30 days of receipt at the latest; we inform you of the outcome by e-mail. For a justified complaint you are entitled to a fix, a reasonable discount or, if the defect cannot be fixed, to withdraw and receive a refund.
Consumer supervision: Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), Inspectorate for the Bratislava Region, Bajkalská 21/A, 827 99 Bratislava, www.soi.sk.
Alternative dispute resolution (for consumers): if you are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint or believe we have infringed your rights, you may send us a request for redress. If we reject it or do not reply within 30 days, you may submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to an ADR body under Slovak Act No. 391/2015 Coll. — for example the Slovak Trade Inspection (www.soi.sk) or another body from the list kept by the Slovak Ministry of Economy.
The contract and these terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic; for consumers in other EU member states the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence remain unaffected. Disputes are decided by the courts of the Slovak Republic.
13. Personal data
How we process the personal data of hosts and guests, who has access, where data is stored and what rights you have is described in the Privacy Policy. A plain-language overview is on the Security & GDPR page.
For corporate and other business hosts, the Data Processing Agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) forms part of the contract: the host is the controller of guests’ data and we are the processor.
14. Term, termination and changes to these terms
The contract lasts until the retention period of the host’s last gallery ends or until it is deleted. The host may end the contract at any time by deleting the gallery; for a paid plan without a refund (except consumer withdrawal under section 5).
We may terminate the contract with 30 days’ notice by e-mail if we discontinue the service; paid plans whose periods are still running are then refunded proportionately. In case of a material breach we may terminate immediately.
We may change these terms. Hosts with running galleries are informed of changes affecting them by e-mail at least 14 days in advance; if you disagree, you may terminate before the change takes effect and we refund the proportionate part of an unused paid plan. New galleries are governed by the terms in force on the day they are created.
If any provision is invalid, the others remain in force. These terms are effective from 2026-09-13.
